1932-S 25C Washington PCGS MS64

A choice, original example of this popular key date Washington. Very close to gem quality, with strong satiny to frosty luster, and crusty, attractive toning. Purchased out of a 1980s Kagin's portfolio, and only recently graded for the first time by PCGS. A fresh coin.

Description / 1932-S 25C Washington PCGS MS64

1932-S 25C Washington Quarter PCGS - An exceptional example for the issue and grade, featuring strictly original surfaces, and lovely, unimpared luster.

The 1932-S Washington Quarter, minted in San Francisco has the lowest mintage (408,000) of the entire Washington quarter series, and is one of the most in-demand key dates of the 20th century, having been sought after in all grades since the 1950s.

This particular example comes with an attractive blend of brilliant silver and deep original patina at the periphery, the result of spending years in an old coin album. Its overall luster and surface preservation are ideal for the grade, and were it not for a tiny abrasion on the cheek, the coin would be worthy of a gem designation.
